In connection with the entry into force of the Customs Code of the Customs Union changed the rules for importing goods into the Customs Union countries for individuals. 

The new rules are established by Agreement of the member-countries of the Union for the displacement of individuals of goods for personal use through the customs border of the Customs Union and the perpetration of customs operations connected with their release, the press-service of Far Eastern Customs Administration informs.

The Agreement states that the goods are for personal use, except for vehicles imported into the customs territory of the Customs Union in the accompanied and unaccompanied baggage are exempt from customs duties, if the customs value does not exceed the equivalent of 1500 euros, and the total weight does not exceed 50 kg. When importing more goods to pay a fee of 30% but not less than 4 euros per kilogram of excess weight and (or) the value standards.

Allowed to import alcoholic drinks and beer - no more than 3 liters, as well as tobacco and tobacco products - 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars (cigarillos) or 250 grams of tobacco or products referred to in the range of total weight not exceeding 250 grams per one citizen who has attained the age of 18.
